MP Group – Your Trusted Partner in supplying Raw Zinc Materials

At MP Group, we specialize in providing sustainable and efficient recycling solutions for the metal industry. To support our recycling plants, we are continuously seeking and importing high-quality raw materials to meet production needs and contribute to the development of a circular economy.

We are currently in need of materials such as Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) dust, zinc ash, zinc slag, and high-zinc-content concentrates. Our monthly purchasing volume ranges from 8,000 to 10,000 tons. We prioritize suppliers who can meet our quality criteria, including high zinc content and compliance with environmental standards in the exporting country.

Additionally, we conduct sample analysis to ensure quality control, identifying harmful elements like Cl, Cd, S, and F, which could affect the recycling process. We also require quality and quantity inspections to be carried out by organizations such as SGS or AHK, with the costs shared equally between both parties.

Regarding transportation, since these materials are of low value, shipping costs play a crucial role. We prefer cost-effective sea freight options and aim to avoid purchases from regions far from seaports or landlocked countries to minimize high road transportation costs.

With these requirements, we seek to collaborate with suppliers capable of providing stable, long-term supply, working together towards the goals of sustainable development and environmental protection.

How to recycle zinc skimming and recover zinc products?

What is zinc skimming? Zinc skimming is a by-product generated during the galvanizing process, similar to zinc dross but typically less rich in metallic zinc. It forms as a layer of impurities and oxidized material that accumulates on the surface of molten zinc baths used to coat steel or iron. This “skimming” is removed from […]

How to recycle Zinc Dross and recover zinc products?

What is zinc dross? It is a by-product or waste material produced during the galvanizing process, which involves coating steel or iron with a layer of zinc to prevent corrosion. When zinc is melted to coat the steel, impurities from the zinc and iron interact and form solid particles that float on the surface of […]

EAF dust import

Understanding Electric arc furnace Dust (EAFD): Production, Challenges, and Recycling Solutions Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) dust, a by-product of steel manufacturing in electric arc furnaces, is a significant material in the recycling and metals industry. At MP Group, we provide insights into the production, challenges, and effective recycling solutions for EAF dust, emphasizing our commitment […]

Zinc concentrate import

Defination Zinc concentrate is a product derived from the beneficiation of zinc-containing ores, particularly sphalerite (zinc sulfide). It represents a critical step in the extraction of zinc metal from its ore, with a high concentration of zinc typically ranging from 50% to 60%. This concentrate is a crucial material used in subsequent refining processes to […]

Waelz Zinc Oxide import

What is Waelz Zinc Oxide? Waelz Zinc Oxide (WZO or Crude Zinc Oxide) is a high-purity zinc compound produced through the Waelz process. This recycling technology efficiently recovers zinc from industrial waste. Sourced mainly from electric arc furnace (EAF) dust from steel mills, It is valuable across many industries. Its sustainable production transforms hazardous waste […]

APC dust import

APC dust Introduction  In today’s industrial landscape, managing air pollution control (APC) dust effectively is crucial for environmental sustainability and resource recovery. APC dust, collected from air pollution control systems, often contains valuable metals and potentially hazardous materials. At MP Group, we utilize advanced recycling technologies, including Waelz kilns, to recover these valuable resources while […]
